Goodyear reveals latest Eagle F1 series at the Ascari Race Track in Spain

On April 14-15th, 2019, Goodyear successfully hosted a two-day event to unveil the new product lineup launch of the Eagle F1 Series at the Ascari Race Track in Malaga, Spain. Distinguished media and guests had the luxury to experience the new products, featuring the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5, Eagle F1 SuperSport, Eagle F1 SuperSport R and Eagle F1 SuperSport RS. This summer product launch marks a huge milestone for Goodyear as this demonstrates Goodyear’s determination to return to the U-UHP segment.

The product launch kicked-off with Jenner Powell, Consumer PBU Product Director, Consumer PBU of Asia Pacific, presenting the highlights of the new products to all invited guests. All the F1 Eagle Family Series’ products were displayed in premium light and décor to underline each prominently featured product. In addition, a galaxy of superior of super sport and racing cars was exposed on the circuit for guests to test the high-performance of the cutting-edge Eagle F1 Series. The noteworthy vehicles included Porsche, Ferrari, Range Rover and Alpine.

To further express the new Eagle F1 Series’ high-performance, four tailored workshops were presented onsite for invited guests to journey through the new summer product line-up. Through the four workshops, Wet Handling & Braking, Dry Handling, Off-Road and Dry Handling Experience, guests were introduced to the key features of each different tyre. The main highlight of the workshops was the test drives, where invited guests had the opportunity to take turns to test drive the premium super sports vehicles or ride on the co-pilot’s seat to experience the innovative UHP and U-UHP products.

This Eagle F1 Series launch event received wide brand exposure as there were more than eight rounds of media interviews on the Ascari Race Track with multiple spokespeople from Goodyear APAC and EMEA team. With the interactive workshops and in-depth media interviews, this thriving event further elevates Goodyear’s innovative DNA of more than just delivering great quality products, but products that places Goodyear as the top choice for today’s drivers.

On the first day of the event, more than 45 media influencers and VIP customers from Asia Pacific region attended Goodyear Eagle F1 Series event in the wonderful Ascari Race Resort.

Furthermore, a galaxy of super sport and racing cars were on display to experience the high performance of the innovative Eagle F1 series. Guests were all impressed at the technology Goodyear is utilizing which fully embodies its innovative spirit, and also expressed their excitement to test drive Goodyear’s latest UHP and U-UHP products.


Media Interview
At the race track, more than 8 rounds of media interviews were conducted from Goodyear APAC and EMEA team. “Goodyear’s Innovation DNA inspires the marque to always deliver great quality products,” said Jenner Powell, Consumer PBU Product Director of Asia Pacific, “through such an event, Goodyear is re-stepping into the exciting segment of ultra-ultra-high-performance tyre markets.” The event was a success with positive reviews across all APAC guests.
